Rapid Response Kerr County, Texas Flooding - July 2025

The hearts of Texas communities are heavy as severe flooding, driven by relentless rainfall, has tragically claimed over 100 lives, with 173 individuals still desperately sought by their families and search and rescue teams. Days of relentless rainfall have unleashed unimaginable devastation, leaving communities shattered and local resources stretched.
In this time of profound need, All Hands and Hearts (AHAH) has swiftly mobilized its Disaster Assistance Response Team to support those affected. Our dedicated crews are canvassing flood-impacted communities where damage is widespread and severe. Despite road closures, we are reaching isolated areas and connecting with local partners.
Our teams are conducting door-to-door assessments, identifying the most urgent needs, and beginning the long road to recovery. Our immediate relief efforts are to ease the burden on families by helping to clear overwhelming debris, distributing essential emergency items, and, in a crucial collaboration with Airbnb.org, providing safe emergency housing for families who have lost their homes, for those desperately searching for their relatives, and for the tireless first responders.
Currently, we are in Hunt and Ingram, two hard-hit communities, providing immediate cleanup support for two families. After liaising with the Hunt Volunteer Fire Department, we are expanding our reach to six different local areas in need of urgent support. Every moment brings new challenges, and new opportunities to help community members after this tragic disaster.
