SOUTHEAST ALASKA FOOD BANK

The Southeast Alaska Food Bank serves those who are most in need of access to healthy and nutritious food for themselves and their families. The Juneau Alaska food bank has been serving the community since 1992. Food is provided by the citizens of Juneau, community garden members and several key grocery businesses including Fred Meyer, Super Bear IGA, Food Land IGA, Safeway, Costco, and the Breeze Inn. We operate with one full time employee and a team of dedicated volunteers.

Thanks to donations of in-kind services and financial donations and our team of dedicated volunteers we have been able to continue to serve the community of Juneau and those in surrounding isolated communities. Each year the challenges become more difficult to overcome. But we NEVER STOP trying.
